to Syntax. This is a bit of a fun show. We've got another collab with the folks over at ShopTalk Show And, the folks at another web development podcast, The Change Log, have had us on to do Front End Feuds, so we are going to be airing that show rid for you. It was a hoot. You had a lot of fun landing it, didn't you, Scott? I had a blast. Yeah. I had a great time. The rules were not as fair as I would like them to be, but the circumstances a little salty. Yeah. We gave we we we put our best foot forward, and, if it's rigged, it's rigged, but We had a great time.
Scott Tolinski
But what can you do about it if it's rigged? I mean, I can't do anything about it. Yeah.
Wes Bos
Sponsored by 3 awesome company, .tech rid. Domain names, which is in the name, what they do, LogRocket, JavaScript session replay, and Mux, Online video streaming, everything you need to host your video platform.
Wes Bos
We'll talk about all of them partway through the episode.
Wes Bos
With that, let's get into it.
Front End Feud intro
Guest 2
Please hold. Your feud is important to us.
Guest 2
It's time to play Front End Feud.
Guest 4
Hello there, and welcome to Front End Feud. I am Jared Santo, your host for today.
Guest 4
It has been a while since we played this game, But we are happy to be here today, and we have a podcast super collab. We got together some of our friends from some of our favorite web dev podcast In this space, I'm sure you've heard of them. And it is gonna be team syntax versus team shop talk. Hey, everybody. Welcome to Front of Feud.
Guest 4
Hey.
Guest 4
Woo hoo. Now we wanted to give we wanted to give it a little JS party flavor, so we've mixed in. We re Prinkled in some JS Party panelists onto each team. And so joining team Shock Talk, which is Chris and Dave Rupert is Amelia Wattenberg. So, Amelia, you are on team shop talk. What do you think? I love it. We're gonna win.
Guest 2
Oh, absolutely. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Chance.
Guest 4
And joining Team Syntax, which is West Boston's Scott Talinski is Divya. Divya, welcome to Syntax. Hey. Hey. Coop. Coop.
Teams introduced
Guest 4
Best team. Best team. Divya is an old pro at front end feed, but I believe the rest of us are all new, even Amelia.
Guest 4
So So we should have a lot of fun. I'll quickly explain the rules. So this is a game all about the JS party. Lovely listeners. We had a 140 people rid Fill out our front end feud survey. We appreciate you all for doing that.
Guest 4
I really appreciate you because I went back to the form at the And then realize the average take time was 37 minutes. I am so sorry. That thing took forever.
Guest 4
And that's because we asked 25 questions so we can play the game a few times without rid I'm gonna go back and do more surveys. So super appreciate all y'all for filling those out. The goal of the game is to match our listeners' answers. So we have pulled them on different things, And each team is gonna try to match the answer with the most answered from the survey.
Guest 4
And as you go about doing that, you win points. If If you fail to do that 3 times in a round, the other team can steal, and the team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Rules explained
Guest 4
Any questions?
Guest 6
Yeah. It's not the most correct answer. Right? It's not it's like I used to play apples to apples with my super pedantic uncle, and he's always like, but my answer's more correct. And you're like, Dennis, It's not about correctness.
Guest 4
Oh, such a Dennis move. That's exactly right. In fact, many of our questions are subjective. So it's according to, like, the people's tastes or what they think, ready. And so, there really aren't right answers. The right answer are the ones that the most people said. So we will start off with a face off. This is where 2 contestants rid Step forward virtually and get a chance to answer first. The person who gets the highest answer on the board takes that board for their team, and their team participates In that round. So ladies first, we will have Amelia and Divya. Please step right up.
Guest 4
Round 1. We'll start with Emilia. Emilia, if you get the highest answer, you immediately take the board. If you don't get the highest answer, Divya gets a chance to take it.
Round 1 face-off
Guest 4
We asked a 140 lovely jazz party listeners, what is your primary web browser?
Guest 5
Oh, no pressure.
Guest 5
I'm gonna go with Chrome.
Guest 2
Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Number 1 answer with 52
Guest 4
responses.
Guest 4
So that means team ShopTok is on the board. So we will now go Right. We will go in order.
Guest 4
You can keep guessing there are 6 Browsers in the list. So you have to match all 6 to take the board. Oh. You have the number 1 answer, which is Chrome with 52. There's 5 left. Let's go to Chris.
Guest 6
Firefox.
Team ShopTalk wins round 1
Guest 6
Firefox.
Guest 6
Show me Firefox.
Guest 4
Number 2 answer with 43 points. Very good. Mhmm. Mhmm.
Guest 4
There's no conferring. Who goes next? Me? Because I go conferring. Now we go to Dave. So we go in around. Dave, it's your turn.
Guest 2
It gets, like, infinitely harder from here on out.
Guest 4
Rid. Go Edge.
Guest 4
Show me Edge.
Guest 4
Number 4 answer with 11 points. Edge is on there. So you have four Of the 6 or sorry, 3 of the 6, and now we go back to Amelia.
Guest 5
Literally do not know any other browsers.
Guest 5
I don't wanna say Internet Explorer.
Guest 4
Is that your answer? It is not.
Guest 5
My answer is gonna be better than that. Okay.
Guest 5
What is your answer then? You got it. No. It's gonna be Internet Explorer.
Guest 4
Okay. Internet show Explorer show me IE.
Guest 2
Sorry. I'm sorry. That's your 1st strike. It's all good. That's okay because that could have been, like, a total troll answer. That I feel like that was of Yep. Fully valid. Yeah. Yeah. I was truly For all the Yeah. All the testers out there using IE. Yeah.
Guest 4
Gotta represent. Yep. Alright. We go to Chris. So do we keep it? Because strikes yeah. Yep. So you have 1 strike, you have 2 strikes left, and then there'll be a steal opportunity.
Guest 6
I'm gonna go with Safari because it feels like one of the the big three.
Guest 4
Show me Safari.
Guest 4
Number 5 answer with 8 respondents using Safari. Remember Oh, so the number 3 is still available? Remember, it's their primary browser.
Guest 4
Okay. So now we go back to Dave. You got this. Oh, boy. I'm gonna go brave.
Guest 4
Show me brave.
Guest 4
Number 3 answer. There it was. Number 3. 18 people on the 23 of their primary. So We have 1 strike against you. You have Chrome at number 1, Firefox at 2, Brave at 3. You also said Safari at 5.
Guest 4
Did you say the number 4? You did. You said Edge at number 4. So there's 1 left. Wow. That's nuts.
Guest 4
And We're back to Emilia. You have 2 strikes, so just take a guess.
Guest 5
Dang it.
Guest 5
There's that one where it has oh, I'm not gonna give any Please.
Guest 5
I don't actually know the name.
Guest 4
Okay. Do you wanna guess something random, or you wanna just take a strike? I use one called Stack that I know no one else uses. Show me Stack.
Guest 4
You are correct. Nobody else uses Stack.
Guest 2
Rid Damn. So we don't get a point for that? She was correct. She was correct. Then nobody uses it. So we go to Chris now. This is your last guess before the Before
Wes Bos
gets to steal. Oh, we're gonna steal it.
Guest 6
I gotta go with the big o opera. I know it's a wild card, but just feel like it might be hanging on. Show me opera.
Guest 2
Woah.
Guest 4
Three strikes, And you are out. So team syntax gets one guess you can confer amongst the team. And if you get it right, you steal the ball. Can we confer openly? Yes. Yeah.
Guest 7
Samsung.
Wes Bos
I was gonna say Oh.
Guest 6
Vidal vy? Yeah. Maybe. Vivaldi.
Guest 2
Vivaldi?
Wes Bos
Vidal vy? Isn't that what it is? Rid Vidalve? Vivalve. I always have that. Vivalve.
Guest 7
I'm just naming browsers here. Yeah. I thought it was Samsung because, like, they have a bunch of developer advocates and rid And also, like, you use it when you use your phone. Right? So They don't have a desktop browsers though, do they? No. I think it's only mobile.
Guest 7
I think it's just like a mobile thing, which is why I'm like, is it I don't I don't know. What's Vivaldi?
Scott Tolinski
Vivaldi, v I v a l d I. What is it? We can't Google it, so I can't Google it. Yeah. That's true.
Guest 4
I don't know. Okay. So we have Sam you're thinking Samsung. You're thinking Vivaldi. Vivaldi is also a famous person.
Wes Bos
I think Vivaldi is like a, it wasn't it like a, like, security focused browser? So I could see there being, like, 1 Oh, Otter, actually, which is also a thousand. Can you use that as a
Guest 4
Man, this is tough. Alright. Let's make a decision here. What are you guys thinking? Okay. I think we should go what do you think, Scott?
Scott Tolinski
Oh, I I have no idea. In terms of browsers that I just heard mentioned recently, Vivaldi was one of them, so that's why I Yeah. That sounds fine, I rid I don't know, though. Yeah. I have no idea. Samsung could definitely be it too. I've seen it on Hacker News a few times, which is why I I wanna go with that.
Guest 7
RJ's party listeners, Orange Folk 2?
Wes Bos
I don't know. There's gotta be a 1. Yeah. It's a good question.
Guest 4
The SV 1. Yeah. Alright. Pick 1. Let's move on. What do you got? Hey. Vivaldi.
Guest 4
Vivaldi.
Guest 4
Is that number 5? Show me Vivaldi.
Guest 2
No
Wes Bos
way. I told you. Yes. 5 JS party listeners. Rid 5. Five people used That's funny.
Guest 6
Five out of 1 40. Yeah. Who builds Vivaldi? Did they get all the points for the entire round? They stole a 100 and 37 points on that. We made those points. Well, we anyone can guess the other browsers.
Wes Bos
Well, I can't.
Scott Tolinski
Edge? I went out on a limb with Edge, I felt like. It was the 3rd one I wrote down when I was writing down browsers here. There you go. Amazing.
Guest 4
Alright. So after round 1, we have team rid with a steal, a 137 to nothing. There's lots of game left to play. So we now go to round 2, a face off between Chris and Scott.
Round 2 face-off
Guest 4
Hope it's about browsers again. So we gave Amelia the 1st guess last round, so we're gonna Got the 1st guess. If you don't hit number 1, then Chris will have a chance. Okay.
Guest 4
We asked a 140 of our fascinating JS party listeners, name a Tool or technology that you use but don't fully understand.
Guest 4
Okay. Do is it speed? Do we go in speed? No. We're going, Wes, and then you if he gets number 1, they'll take it. Otherwise, you get a chance. But don't understand.
Scott Tolinski
Use but don't understand.
Scott Tolinski
I am going to say it is I have a lot of options here. Let's just say Let's say Webpack.
Wes Bos
That's a good answer. Show me Webpack.
Guest 4
Number 1 answer.
Guest 5
No.
Wes Bos
You're a dare it. I knew it. Hold on. I had to close my door. My wife was texting me what's going on.
Guest 4
He's having too much fun.
Guest 4
Alright. So with that, Scott takes the round, and team syntax will play. Now there's 5 answers on the board Of which you have taken the number 1 answer, so there's 4 left.
Guest 4
And we go now to Divya.
Guest 4
So this is front end frameworks People don't understand? Let me read it again. Name a tool or technology that you use but don't fully understand.
Guest 7
A tool or technology that people use that they don't understand.
Guest 7
Oh, man. This is like a very open ended question. You know, like Webpack.
Guest 7
Like Webpack.
Wes Bos
Yes. I'm so impressed to you that you got that, Scott.
Scott Tolinski
I have a lot of options here.
Guest 4
Alright, Divya. We need an answer?
Guest 7
I wanna say what's another tool that's similar to webpack? Snowpack?
Guest 4
Show me Snowpack.
Guest 4
Oh. Not enough users of Snowpack. Sorry. Snowpack was not on the list. Okay. Wes, we go to you. Redux.
Guest 4
That's a good guess. I like that one, but did it make the list?
Team Syntax wins round 2
Scott Tolinski
What? Rid what? I guess everyone knows Redux. That was almost one of my number ones here.
Guest 4
We got 2 strikes, and you still have Four answers left on the board. We go back to Scott now.
Scott Tolinski
Docker.
Wes Bos
Oh, that's a good one. Show me Docker.
Guest 7
Number 2 answer, Docker with 12 responses. I guess I gotta go gotta go to CICD now.
Guest 7
Ku Kubernetes. This is probably
Guest 4
wrong. I grouped out with Docker because there are people answering both. So those are together, Docker and Kubernetes. Oh, I had Kubernetes on my list too. Yeah. They're very different tools, I will say. I know they are, but people were mixing and matching them. So please, pick another one.
Guest 7
Let's see.
Scott Tolinski
I can't believe Redux was
Guest 7
Can I just say CI, or does it have to be a tool?
Guest 4
A tool or a technology?
Guest 7
CI a technology, technically? I think so. It's in a concept?
Guest 4
I think it is. CICD.
Guest 4
Alright. Show me CICD.
Guest 2
Oh.
Wes Bos
That's surprising, actually. There's no way they'll steal this. That's okay. No sweat. There's no way everyone understands CICD.
Guest 4
But maybe they don't use it. Yeah. It's a technology that you use but don't fully understand. Maybe they don't think about it. Come on.
Guest 7
Deployments?
Guest 4
Maybe they do. Maybe they don't.
Guest 4
Alright. Team ShopTalk can confer on a chance to steal.
Guest 6
Okay. Okay. We've got a couple of possible options. You got 3 possibilities here. I've got thoughts too. I feel like the troll answers just just say CSS because people like to be like, I don't I don't understand. You know? Oh, Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. And then the one that you probably actually don't understand is Git.
Wes Bos
Oh. That's for sure on there. Oh, man.
Guest 6
I, But those are just ideas, you know, whatever. I had Git too. I also had Bash. JavaScript is a troll answer too. Bash. Okay. JavaScript is good. Bash and,
Guest 7
babble, which I don't know about. Oh, babble. Oh, I just thought of 1.
Guest 6
What do you think, T? You can say it. No. I'm not safe.
Guest 2
I'm gonna message Wes and I had, like, serverless and stuff like that, but I, know, I think I like Git. I like Git. Or
Guest 6
yeah. What do you think, Amelia?
Guest 4
I like Git. Okay. I like it. We're gonna go with Git. Alright. For the steal, Show me git.
Guest 4
Yeah. Yeah. Big steal. It's a game of steals. That's the number 4 answer with 8 respondents
Guest 6
saying Git. Interesting. So there's a missing 3. Number 3 was React.
Guest 4
Yeah. Oh, okay. And number 5 was NPM.
Guest 7
Fair enough. Yeah. Couple of honorable mentions. I'm actually surprised no one said Regix.
Guest 4
Oh, that would've been good. Sense of kooping. Rid Or readest thought about it. Tools that make me fall asleep. But if you don't knew it, maybe you just don't use it. Maybe. Chris, 4 people said CSS. It just barely missed the board. Oh, okay. 3 people said node. 2 people said dependency injection, which I think you should know how it works before you use that one. And 1 person said PHP, and then in parentheses, they said, I don't anyone will ever fully understand PHP.
Guest 4
Oh, okay. So some commentary there. It's it's all WordPress.
Guest 4
Yeah. Just use WordPress. Cool. That was fun. Alright. So let me add these up here. It's a nice steal. Cool.
Guest 4
And that is So is it 1 to 1? Is that how it works? No. We're still winning by far. It's points. It's points based, but I'll tell you the last rounds, the points double. So there's usually a chance to come back near the end. Double. Okay. So you stole in 63. There were 63 points available that round. So currently, syntax is still in the lead, 137 to 63, but everyone's playing quite well Nice. Within reach.
Wes Bos
Re Real quick break for one of our sponsors, .tech domain names. And the name says what they do, they provide domain names with .tech. If you need to find a domain name for your next Project checkout and see if you can grab a pretty wicked .tech domain name. Everybody's doing it. I got users.tech as my own domain name. I have wes.tech, which rid. I need to know what should I put on that. That's that's pretty exciting that I was able to to grab that, such a short little URL.
Wes Bos
Lot of value in .tech ripped. Domain names. It's really popular in the web development industry as well as just in the general technology industry as well. So check out the domain that is taking the tech industry by storm. We're gonna go to go.techforward/ syntax rid is tech.
Wes Bos
Link for that in the show notes. Make sure you use the coupon code syntax 5, and that's gonna get you re Eighty% off of a 5 year registration. That's a pretty deep discount. So, tweet us what you have built with your dot tech domain name. We're at syntaxfm. Thank you, dot rid Tech for sponsoring.
Wes Bos
Alright.
Guest 4
Let's move to round 3, which is gonna be Dave versus Wes.
Round 3 face-off
Guest 4
Re Now Team Syntax got the guest first last round, so we'll go to Dave for the 1st guest.
Guest 4
We asked 140 brilliant jazz party listeners, re What's something you do to reach a state of dev flow? Yes, Dave.
Guest 2
Music. Do I need to be more specific? Mhmm.
Guest 4
Like electronic music? Music's just fine. Show me music.
Guest 4
Number 1 answer.
Guest 4
66 rid People say they listen to music. They also had a bunch of different kinds of genres and stuff, but I just combine them all together. So That's team Shop Talk. You guys get to play this round. You already have the number 1 answer. There are 5 total answers, 4 left on the board. Freaking a. And we go to Amelia.
Guest 4
Uh-huh.
Guest 4
What something people do to reach a state of dev flow?
Guest 5
I drink a lot of coffee.
Guest 2
It's gonna be totally on there. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer.
Guest 4
Show me drink coffee.
Guest 4
Number 4 answer. Good job. Wow. 4. That's, generally drinking things. Drink coffee. People said drink tea. Drink energy drinks.
Guest 4
That's worth 9 points. So good one. And now it is Chris's turn.
Guest 6
I am just dying here.
Guest 6
Devflow.
Guest 6
Right? What do you do? That's like a common thing that you do. Is there something like like move locations? Is that like a rid Is is that too vague? Like, go to a coffee shop? Somewhat vague. Too vague. Too vague. Re Shut the door. Shut the door.
Guest 4
Show me shut the door.
Guest 4
I will give it to you. Rid of it. Nice. This is a category of things where people said remove distractions, go to do not disturb, Close the door. May have a quiet place what people were saying, so I'll give you that one. I feel like Wes clued them in when he closed the door. Rid Yeah. Yeah. Channeling. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely help. Sinking my own tip here. Wes is really in dev flow right now.
Guest 4
Rid So that was 26 points. That's the number 2 answer. So you have 1, 2, and 4. So 3 and 5 are still on the board, and that puts us back to rid Dave.
Guest 4
Oh, boy.
Guest 2
Blocking time on your calendar? That was part of the remove distractions one. Yeah. I need a new one, and the next one is not good.
Guest 2
Let's see.
Guest 2
You you gotta have your hot chip hot chip.
Guest 2
Snacks.
Guest 4
You gotta have snacks. I was like, what's hot chip? Yeah. Show me snacks.
Guest 4
No.
Guest 4
That's your 1st miss. So you're doing well. You have 2 misses left, And it is now Amelia's turn. Oh.
Guest 4
Amelia, what's something you do to reach the state of dev flow? I definitely eat hot chips.
Guest 2
Hot chip. That's not chip. Hot chip was it is
Wes Bos
I get it.
Guest 5
I guess if not that you wanted Chris to be more clear about his going to places thing.
Guest 5
So I'm gonna go with A specific place, which is going to your desk.
Scott Tolinski
Going to your desk. I don't like that face. Show me going to your desk.
Guest 4
Maybe just a little bit too on the nose, but a good effort.
Guest 6
We go back to Chris. Rid It sounds like none of these are related to technology. None of them is, like like, troll around for cool Versus Code extensions or what you know. Go on Twitter. It's not. Is Is that how you get in Flow? Oh. Installing plug ins? Twitter's the exact opposite of Flow. Yeah. I know how to get out of Flow. Can we do that
Guest 2
Like YouTube.
Guest 2
Yeah.
Guest 6
I'm going to go with, put on sweatpants.
Guest 2
Yeah. Yeah. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer. Good answer.
Guest 4
I'm going to give you that one. Oh.
Guest 4
Rid This is a combination of prepare yourself. So there was, like, get the room set up, good posture, sleep first, put on certain clothes. People said, I'll put on, rid Like comfy clothes, so that's why I'm giving it to you. So that's 10 points, which means there's 1 left. Number 5 is still out there, and you have 1 strike left. Rid And Dave has a chance at it. Go ahead, Dave.
Guest 2
Okay. So recap, we've done music, we've done get comfy, we've done Remove distractions.
Guest 2
Rid Coffee. Remove distractions. Yeah. We've done coffee, and there's 1 more. There is 1 more. Turn off email? Is that send distractions? That's remove distractions. Yep.
Guest 6
Oh, boy.
Guest 6
So sorry, Dave. That's tough.
Team ShopTalk wins round 3
Guest 4
Go for a walk? Show me go for a walk.
Guest 4
Oh, that was a my list. Aw, man. Alright. We got to steal. Alright. Chance to steal. I'll tell you. This is a tough one, so you got your work cut ready for you. Alright, guys. What what are you thinking? I had, like, put on headphones or something because I was gonna say, like Yeah. Noise canceling headphones,
Wes Bos
white noise.
Scott Tolinski
White noise. Yeah. Exercise.
Guest 7
Meditate.
Wes Bos
Meditate. I had meditate.
Scott Tolinski
Although, somebody did say go for a walk, which, Like, could be constituted as exercise maybe. So Yeah.
Wes Bos
Meditate or, like, noise canceling headphones.
Guest 7
Yeah. Wait. Was noise canceling, yeah, was noise rid. Headphones removing distractions, though? Is that part of the whole, like, umbrella? Yeah. I had that as my very first one on the list. Yeah. I'm gonna say that's part of removing distractions because it's kinda like of Okay. Okay. Yeah. So we got white noise. I have full screen, which should probably also remove distractions.
Wes Bos
Yeah. Blocker apps. That's part of that. Block our ads removed. Just Meditate. White noise. What do people do to focus? I'm trying to think of all, like, the Tim
Scott Tolinski
re Activity hacks. Morning routine. I have, like, a go to coffee shop as one of my things on my list, rid Which is going somewhere.
Scott Tolinski
Oh, you mean, like, working at the coffee shop? Or, like Just going to the coffee shop because that's what I do when I, like, really can't focus. I think that's under coffee.
Guest 4
Yeah. That one was kinda broached. I think both with Okay. Your environment, and there's a drink coffee. So Gotcha.
Wes Bos
I think meditate. Okay. Maybe meditate. Yeah. Yeah. I don't have anything else. Let's just hail Mary it. Yeah.
Guest 4
Show me meditate.
Guest 2
Oh, man. I thought that was it. Meditate didn't make the list. Good for us. What happens now? Really? I also have I have no idea. I wanna know that answer.
Guest 4
One, I would not have guessed this. 5 people say they listen to podcasts.
Guest 4
Oh, hey.
Guest 4
Know. Okay. Here we are are on a podcast. I do that. Yeah.
Guest 2
That's kinda refreshing that at least 5 people listen to podcasts. That's right. Thank you all. And
Guest 4
And one specifically said, listen to the Jay's party podcast. I said, oh, I appreciate that call out. Aw, that's nice. Happy to help you get in the flow. That's the opposite for me. Like, I don't wanna listen to podcast. No. I do. You know what I'd actually do is, like, do something that you're in the mood to do. You know? Like, if I'm like, I'm gonna do I just feel like Coding on this thing, then I'll get flow because I'm, like, not fighting against what I wanna do. But how do you Right. Work on something that you feel like working on? Yeah. Where was wander around Home Depot for 9 hours? Where was that? Is that
Guest 2
on the list?
Guest 4
That's funny because 1 person said, Procrastinate for 10 hours.
Guest 4
Oh, good.
Guest 4
Nice. There's the honesty right there.
Guest 4
And then a few people said drink alcohol or smoke weed, and I thought, is that? I've never been in the flow in these states. I don't know. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
Guest 4
Alright. So no steal. So Shoptalk gets the points. They missed the last one, but they still managed to score 110 points in the round. So Oh, wow. That's gonna kick us rid Major league comeback after 3 rounds. We have syntax with 137 and shop talk with 170
Guest 2
re Oh. Oh, wow. Balance balance restored.
Round 4 inverted round
Guest 2
Balance restored.
Guest 2
There we go.
Guest 4
We now moved to round 4.
Wes Bos
You stop giving them easy questions. Questions. Yeah.
Guest 4
This is called the inverted round.
Guest 4
This round look works a little bit different than our previous There's no face off. It's just a back and forth between the 2 teams, so we just rotate back and forth.
Guest 4
And you're trying to match the board, but it's inverted. So You wanna match the bottom of the board, not the top of the board. Woah. Okay? So there are 6 things on the board, and the bottom one gets Sixty points, and the top gets 10 points. There's lots of points to be had, but you wanna match the board, but at the bottom. K? So we asked 140 handsome JS party listeners, name your favorite HTML element.
Guest 4
Rid. There are 6 common answers.
Guest 4
And since team syntax is losing, we'll let them go first.
Guest 4
And we'll start with Divya. Divya, name Oh my gosh. This is so hard. A favorite HTML element. Remember, you do not want to have the most favorite. Trying to think of the bottom ones. Oh my god. And we'll have no conferring during this time. Yeah. But you don't you don't want the ones that are, like, So far gone. Did. You want the 6th most popular element? That's right. 4, 5, and 6 are the sweet spot. Yeah. Yeah. I'm thinking span.
Wes Bos
That's what I always said. Show me Span.
Guest 7
Oh, sorry. Span didn't make the board. Who don't like spam? No one likes spam. It's all these React developers.
Guest 4
It has to be your favorite.
Guest 4
Yeah. Exactly. Yeah.
Guest 2
All these React apps just using divs for everything. Yeah. No. Seriously. Why span when you can I or div inline block?
Guest 4
Rid Divot line block. Love it. Okay. We go over to team Shop Talk. Let's have Amelia name a favorite HTML element. Oh,
Guest 5
It might be way too obscure, but I know it's got some fans out there. We're gonna go with Marquee.
Guest 4
Show me marquee. Good answer. Good answer. Yeah. Well done. Nice. Good answer. That's the number 2 answer, actually. So it's high school.
Guest 5
Oh, not obscure?
Guest 4
Turns out it's not that obscure, so you get 20 points for that one.
Guest 4
And we go back now to syntax, and we'll have Scott.
Scott Tolinski
Let's think here about HTML elements.
Scott Tolinski
What elements do I like a lot? Let's see. Button.
Guest 4
Show me button.
Guest 4
Number 3 answer, button. Woah. Good. So So we get 30 points for that one.
Guest 4
Well played. So now number 2 and number 3 are taken Marquis and Button. So number 1, 4, 5, and 6 are still out there.
Guest 4
And we go now to Chris.
Guest 6
Okay. So we're just going back and forth here. That's another way? Yeah. We're just gonna go back and forth. K.
Guest 6
2 of 6 have been answered. Then one's gonna be, why would I give you answers? I'm not gonna do that.
Wes Bos
I'm gonna hope that a is on the list. A, the rid Anchor element. Show me
Guest 2
a. Woah.
Guest 2
That checks out. It's a JavaScript rid
Scott Tolinski
Okay. Use the link
Guest 2
tag. Use a div with a link. I'll just say, personally,
Guest 4
a is my favorite element, personally. Rid On click as an attribute? Yeah. Div with an on click. Yeah. On click. Div with an on click.
Guest 4
I think we all are hovering around number 1. Okay. So we from Chris over to Wes on the same syntax.
Guest 4
I'm gonna go paragraph tag. Paragraph tag. Is it popular? It is. Yes. That's the number 5 answer. Yes. Oh, boy. Points. Points. Points. Points. So you score a A whopping 50 points on that. Dang. 50? Yes. Oh, that probably put us ahead.
Guest 6
Yeah. It was. Don't you wanna get less points for some reason rid on this weird ride. So that was Wes. Now we're back we're looping back around to Amelia.
Guest 2
It's Dave's turn. No. Yeah. You're right. Dave's turn. Sorry, Dave. Rid. We need something less popular than p, but more popular than, like, the Ruby element.
Guest 2
So
Guest 4
that's quite a range.
Guest 2
UL.
Guest 2
Oh my god. Show me UL.
Guest 4
Oh. No. No. All that default stylings. I forgot it was a JavaScript podcast. It's a React podcast. No. Just think, is there anybody out there who thinks My favorite element is an unordered list. I just love them. Divan, now we have to decide if we we take the easy
Wes Bos
known number 1
Guest 7
Or risk it for the biscuit. I know. I think we take the easy points if you're asking me. We can take the easy one and then go for the later one. Yeah. That's it. Good strategy. Yeah. You might be sick of the joke, but, like, look at your name. You know? I know. Oh, yeah.
Guest 7
Clearly, you have a div on the gotta use it.
Guest 4
Show me div. Yeah? Yes. Of course. The number 1 answer. Nice job.
Guest 4
45 rid Respondents answered with div.
Guest 4
Okay.
Guest 4
So we now have number 1 div, number 2 marquee.
Guest 4
I can't remember the other ones. The number 5 p tag. I think it was, like, button and p. Yeah. Button is number 3. Marquee is number 2. Yeah. That's right. So we're missing
Guest 2
46. K. And there's only, like, a 112 elements left. Yeah.
Guest 4
Rid. Each team has 1 strike. So if you strike out, then we'll end the round. So you have a couple of guesses left. That was Divya. So now we're back to Emilia. Right? Yeah. I like images.
Guest 5
Kind of obscure, but also very nice.
Guest 4
Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Show me image.
Guest 4
No.
Guest 4
Woah. It Who doesn't love an image? Woah. I would've thought that'd be on. For sure. That's a good guess. Yep. So 2 strikes for shop talk. Let's go back over to syntax. We're back to Scott.
Scott Tolinski
Favorite.
Scott Tolinski
Let's see. Considered the Ruby tag. It's really popular. Yeah. It is I love it. Popular. For, like, annotations or something.
Guest 4
Yeah. Super script. That's a good one. Sup? The WBO?
Wes Bos
WBR. Yeah.
Wes Bos
Yeah. WDR. Yeah. The table element?
Scott Tolinski
Let's say the nav element.
Guest 4
In Symantec, show me Nav.
Guest 4
Yeah. No. Thank you. Sorry. My bad. Oh, man. Alright. Each team has 1 more guess. Alright. One more correctness. So here we go back over to Team Shop Talk. It's Chris again. Right? Yeah. Chris.
Guest 6
I'm gonna just shout out h one. Yeah. That was my second guess.
Scott Tolinski
No.
Guest 4
For the sake of good podcasting? No.
Guest 4
Uninterested.
Wes Bos
K. Well, I'm gonna think out loud here. So I'm I'm either thinking header, footer, or, like, a body
Guest 7
or HTML.
Wes Bos
Oh, Super meta. You think people would be sassy enough to say, like, what's your favorite HTML type HTML? HTML body, header, footer.
Wes Bos
I'm gonna say
Scott Tolinski
There's too many choices. I'm gonna go body.
Wes Bos
Part of me wants to say HMO. I'm saying body, though.
Guest 4
I'll tell you that body was answered by 1 person Oh. Did not make the top 6.
Guest 4
K. So SVG? Rid Still pretty good scoring on that round. Number 4 most popular element, input.
Guest 4
Oh. Input. People like input? Nobody Nobody likes inputs. No idea. Inputs are the worst in style. Yeah. Yeah. But they make you be able to do things on your website.
Guest 4
Mister. Alright. And the number 6 most popular hey. It is a JavaScript podcast after all. Script.
Guest 4
Woah. Wow. Wow.
Wes Bos
Rid. I forgot that that was part of HTML. Honor yeah. That was part of webpack.
Guest 4
Honorable mentions.
Guest 4
Scott, couple people mentioned rid Iframe UL was mentioned by a couple people. The picture element was mentioned twice.
Team Syntax wins round 4
Guest 4
Somebody said keep it on the d l, so they're being very Cute with that. And someone actually said div, and then in parentheses, they put you. So divya, you Yeah. Shout out. Wow. We We have points for that, though. Right? Yes. We have points. Yeah. I counted that towards the div, so they got their points. Alright. So in that round, ShopTalk rid Scored 20 and syntax scored 90. So we have a game here. It's going back and forth. And after 4 rounds, syntax is in the lead with 227, And Shoptalk trails with 193 as anybody's game at this point.
Scott Tolinski
Well, I bet, Wes and Scott wish they would have had An error logging service for that one, they coulda seen what they did wrong and and fixed it. You know what you could do that with? Service like LogRocket.
Scott Tolinski
Now LogRocket is the perfect place to see all of your errors and exceptions happen. Let's say you read. Answered something completely wrong on a game show and lost some points, well, you'd like to see how that happened. Well, with LogRocket, you get a session video replay that shows you how your errors happened as they happened. It's really amazing. And, in fact, this is one of those visual tools you really have to see to believe because what's What's going on here is that you actually get a video representation, a video of the mouse clicking around that's scrubbable, the network request, The console log in way more than that, and you can check that out at logrocket.comforward/syntax.
Scott Tolinski
Sign up, and you'll get 14 days for free. Seriously, go ahead and check this out, and just watch their video on their home page and see how this thing works because it is really, really cool. So log rocket.comforward/syntax.
Guest 4
We now go to round 5, and I'll tell you in round 5, all scoring is doubled. So it is Certainly, anybody's match. Let's get back to the face off.
Guest 4
And everybody is faced off at this point. Correct? I believe so. Yeah. I think so. Because this round yes. So we'll go back to the top of the face off with Amelia and Divya. And Amelia guest 1st last round, so I'll let Divya go first this round.
Round 5 face-off
Guest 4
Alright. So there's 4 answers on the board. Divya, name a common mistake that developers make. Is such a broad question.
Guest 7
A common mistake developers make?
Guest 4
It even rhymes. I just noticed that.
Guest 7
They spell debugger wrongly.
Guest 2
I'm not on your team, but good answer. Good answer.
Guest 4
Show me Spelling things wrong.
Guest 4
Yes.
Guest 2
Yes. Oh, wow.
Guest 4
So we've joined forces. Typos and misspellings Was the number 1 answer. I combined the 2. So there's 29 there with typos and the spellings. Wow. Because what is a misspelling that's not a typo and vice versa? I mean, you end up spelling it wrong rid when you typo. So pretty much the same thing. That's 29 points, and you get to play the round. So Alright. Let's go. Team syntax in control. You have rid Three things left on the board. Of course, you have 3 strikes to give. Scott, it's your turn. Name a common mistake that developers make. Oh, gosh.
Scott Tolinski
Don't make mistakes very much. I don't.
Guest 2
So let's see. It's tough. I get it. I get it. Yeah.
Scott Tolinski
Scott makes no mistakes. Yeah. Yeah. Never ever. Including not spelling things wrong ever. Let's see. I here's a a a decent answer. I don't know if this will work. They pick the wrong technology.
Guest 4
Show me pick the wrong tech.
Guest 4
Oh, man. Sorry about that. That was very valid. Yeah. Not bad, but didn't quite make the board.
Guest 4
Alright, Wes. It's your turn.
Wes Bos
Alright.
Wes Bos
Would syntax error be covered under spelling things wrong? Re
Guest 2
boo.
Wes Bos
Is that what he was gonna guess? No. It's rid It's your namesake. It's your namesake. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Syntax is a big mistake. It is? Okay.
Guest 4
I'm gonna go, like, syntax error. I think I lumped it in with typos. I think I did because I'm not seeing it. I think that's similar to typos. No idea.
Wes Bos
Alright. I have a I have another one then. Okay. Forgetting to save. Oh, that's a good one. Show me forgetting the save.
Guest 5
Woah. My end What? Guess it's just, It's a tough one. I got the auto save on.
Guest 4
There we go. Alright. So 2 strikes.
Guest 2
That's crazy. Okay. What's the average age of the audience? Are they Like, All all 12 year olds on Ipads. Yeah. They just everything's auto saved. Oh, man. Alright. We're back at Divya.
Guest 7
Okay. Cool. I think A common mistake that developers will have is okay. This is very generic, but messing up version control or, like, git commits.
Guest 4
Yeah.
Guest 4
Show me Git problems.
Guest 2
Wow.
Guest 4
What? Well, that's 3 strikes. Wow. All the things on my list are x's. Yeah. This is crazy. No. I was like, come on. So shop, talk, and Deal. There's still 3 things on the board. We only have the number 1. No. We only we only got 2 wrong, didn't we? Got 2, didn't we? All 3 of you got 1 wrong, didn't you? Rid Pick wrong tag. Forget to save. Get mistakes. Yes. Here we go. Chris is on there. Oh, man. I'll give him 1 more.
Guest 4
Alright, shop talk. You got rid You can confer amongst yourselves. Oh, we get to talk. That's right. Yes. There is only 4 or only 5 answers? Or 4 total. 3 left. Wow. There's
Guest 6
No points to steal here. It is a low scoring around. Yeah. They deploy on Friday. Is it possible?
Guest 2
Deploy on Friday. Messing up types, like like trying to add a number in a string? Type coercion or whatever. Type coercion? It's like,
Guest 5
really big bundles Or memory leaks? Oh, performance problem. Performance?
Wes Bos
Okay. I like that. Div as a button? Mhmm.
Guest 2
Semantic elements?
Guest 6
Yeah. How do you say perform you used to say, like, do performance bad?
Scott Tolinski
Yeah. Bad performance? Yeah. You could say do performance bad. I think that's a good idea.
Wes Bos
Yeah. You you should say that. Okay.
Guest 2
Oh, no.
Guest 2
Wes is, like, in the database. Wes has reverse engineered the form. Yeah.
Guest 6
He found the form printouts in the dumpster out back. Yeah. Alright.
Guest 4
Show us due performance bad.
Guest 4
Re Failed this deal. To say refresh production. So a lot of missed ones here. This was a tub a trouble round. Number 2 answer, off by 1 errors.
Wes Bos
Oh, that's Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's Yeah. Number 3,
Guest 4
forgetting semicolons.
Guest 2
That's why it's a syntax error. That's a syntax error. I'd purposely do that. Yeah. Syntax error for getting a semicolon.
Wes Bos
Oh, man. Yo.
Guest 4
Roll the tape. It's a very specific response. It was a very specific response, so I let it have its own. That's a stylistic thing too. I specifically said semicolon, though. Oh, you did? West did say that. My Did say syntax.
Guest 4
I'm sorry. I heard syntax error, and then Chris started making fun of it. And I Point. Point. Point. It's okay. It's okay. Alright. We get that back then. Everybody missed it. My bad. Number 4, premature optimization.
Guest 6
Okay.
Guest 4
Enough. Now there's a lot of them that just barely missed the top 4.
Guest 2
Who who put that answer? Was that Kyle Simpson or something?
Guest 4
Rid. Spam in our form? Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. Perhaps. Alright. There's a bunch of them that were tied at 5.
Guest 4
Re Breaking production was answered a lot. Editing or testing the wrong thing. So that's similar to what you're talking about there, Wes, with not saving. Leftover console logs Was that, bad docs, no docs, and then over engineering? Those are all mentioned 5 times.
Guest 4
1 person said building the wrong thing. Rid Oh, I accidentally build a website, bro. Once said building things nobody wants. Yeah. Yeah. Showed up to meeting. Yeah.
Guest 2
Built a div instead of a button.
Guest 4
1 person said writing code, and then 1 person said getting stuck in Vim. So we can't go Getting stuck in rid Every client for you has to have a pen reference in here with it. Thought those are trolls.
Guest 4
Alright. So there's 29 points scored by team syntax. And since it's a double round, we double that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Do we get points for the semicolon too?
Guest 7
No.
Guest 7
We fought harder than we lost. I apologize.
Guest 7
That's a upset. The law one.
Team Syntax wins round 5
Guest 4
So after round 5, it's syntax 285 and shop talk 193, we have just One round left.
Guest 7
Sick.
Guest 4
Let's go. Alright. Round 6 is also a double score round, so this is ShopTalk's big chance to make a comeback. Step right up.
Guest 4
Chris versus Scott.
Round 6 face-off
Guest 4
Which one of you 2 got the 1st guess last time around? Was it Scott? So we'll let Chris take the 1st guess here. Rid I did. Round 6, a double round. We asked 140 intelligent JS Party listeners, name an organization that helps push the web forward.
Guest 6
Chris.
Guest 6
The w three c.
Guest 4
Show me the w three c.
Guest 4
That is the number 3 answer. It's not the number one answer, which means Scott has a chance to take the round.
Guest 4
Oh, yeah.
Guest 4
Name an organization that helps push the web forward.
Scott Tolinski
An organization that You got it. You got it. That helps an organization.
Scott Tolinski
Does that include, like, nonprofits, Like, helps push the web forward.
Scott Tolinski
Man, this is tough.
Scott Tolinski
I don't know.
Wes Bos
Let's say Take a guess. Yeah. Come on, Scott. We had a show on this. Own a friend.
Guest 4
We're helping We had a show on this? We're helping them. Yeah.
Scott Tolinski
We had a show on this. What is that?
Guest 2
We we possibly had a show on.
Guest 2
Scott's now going through 300 episodes.
Guest 4
We're gonna need an answer here, Scott. Guess what? Shoot.
Scott Tolinski
Shoot.
Scott Tolinski
I don't know.
Scott Tolinski
Organization that helps push the web forward.
Scott Tolinski
I'm just I know. I'm sorry, Wes. I'm I'm very sorry.
Guest 4
Wes is trying to provide visual aids here. Table talk. Woah. Woah. Woah. Woah.
Guest 4
We got some Baseball, this is this is table talk.
Guest 4
Apparently, he wants you to steal a base? I don't know what he's doing. I don't know what he's saying to you. Baltimore
Scott Tolinski
Orioles. Oh gosh. Alright, Scott.
Guest 4
I'm so sorry. Free code camp. Who cares? Free code game. Show me a free code game. Oh, that's a good one.
Guest 2
That's pretty good, though. Yeah. I liked it. Alright.
Guest 4
Shop talk. Gets around shop talk. You're well positioned to Deal this game right here and now.
Guest 4
Chris got the number 3 answer. There's 5 total answers on the board. We got this. We got it. So there's 4 left. Numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5, and we go to Dave. Dave, name an organization that helps push the web forward? Google Chrome. Google.
Guest 4
Show me Google.
Guest 4
Number 2 answer, Google That makes sense. With 28 responses.
Scott Tolinski
I wasn't thinking like corporations.
Guest 4
Alright. That's 23.
Guest 4
14 and 5 are left. Amelia, it's up to you.
Guest 5
I'm gonna go with MDN.
Guest 4
Show me Mozilla developer network.
Guest 4
Yes. Number 1 answer
Guest 7
with Wow.
Guest 4
51 answers were Mozilla An MDM.
Guest 4
Yes.
Guest 6
So killing it, you have just But we can lose it if we don't get the 4th one. Left. There's 5 total. There's 2
Guest 5
rid No. Left.
Guest 6
Yeah. Back to you, Chris. Oh. Oh, boy. 2 left? Uh-oh. It's not gonna be freaking Apple. Right? And then all they get is Yell that for not pushing the web forward. Even the
Guest 7
WebKit everything.
Guest 4
Rid Remember, you get 3 strikes, so you have it you can throw throw 1 out there and see what happens.
Guest 6
Oh, yeah. Oh, that's true. Right.
Guest 6
I'm just gonna go with with Microsoft because they They actually do work in the web.
Guest 6
Microsoft.
Guest 4
Show me Microsoft. Sorry. It says number 5 answer. So now you've gotten 1, 2, 3 and 5 has 1 answer left. And you have 3 strikes, so you're sitting pretty.
Guest 4
David's to you.
Guest 2
Rid I'll do t c 39.
Guest 2
ECMA script group.
Guest 4
Show me t c 30
Guest 5
Hey. Woah.
Guest 5
Woah. Man.
Guest 2
Tell you Scott we did a show on. Yeah. I know. I was like,
Scott Tolinski
I was gonna say CSS tags. Why were you touching your head? Always kinda like head. What's that head head in front? I didn't get the hat thing. Look at your hat.
Scott Tolinski
What hat are you wearing? It's a GitHub hat.
Guest 7
Oh, GitHub would be a good answer. Yeah. Yeah. That is Yeah. I would have said Smashing Magazine personally. Well, GitHub is Microsoft at this point. That's true.
Guest 4
Yeah. Okay. That's true. So that of huge round for Shoptalk. That was round 6. The final round is also a double round.
Guest 4
Oh, man. They scored all of the points. And when you double all those points, that round alone was 216 points. Oh.
Guest 5
So Yeah.
Scott Tolinski
With I'm so sorry. 409
Guest 4
points, the winner of Front End Feud.
Team ShopTalk wins Front End Feud
Guest 2
Wow. Supercollab is shop top. I have never lost on this program.
Scott Tolinski
Rid. I'm so sorry, guys.
Guest 2
You
Wes Bos
stole it, though.
Scott Tolinski
I know. No. Thanks. No thanks to double points. Yeah. Killer. I like my points non doubled. Okay? Thank you.
Scott Tolinski
Alright. This episode is also sponsored by Mux atmux.comforward/syntax.
Scott Tolinski
Now Mux is rid. The developer first video API service that allows you to store, host, live stream, and so much more with ease. I remember back in the day when when Stripe came out, they totally changed the game by making, like, developer first APIs for payments. Right? Rid But this really feels like the same thing for video. There's been so many times when I personally wanted to deal with video on the Internet, and I've Really felt the the pain points of how do you get into video streaming without having to set up 18 different services? Well, now you can do it with 1 developer friendly first service at mux, mux.com, and this is actually what we use on our own site, leveluptutorials.com, to do all of our Our video processing, our live streaming, anything like that is really neat. Now the coolest thing that this service does is they generate rid Video on demand, essentially, just in time encoding, which is really neat, meaning you don't have to store a bunch of video that nobody's watching If nobody is watching that specific resolution of that video and this streaming is being done as the user requests a video, it's being transcoded on the rid. Instantaneously and then cached for the next time. It is extremely cool. You can get thumbnails, animated GIF previews, rid All sorts of really amazing features with Mox. So check it out at mux.comforward/syntax.
Guest 4
Alright. Well, ShopTalk, congratulations on the big win. What do you win? Well, you win an opportunity to shout out or say whatever you like. You cannot gloat. You must say something not about syntax. It has to be anything else. Shout out something. This is your chance to speak to the JS party listeners.
Guest 6
Chris, you wanna go? You you said you had something earlier. Well, I was just thinking of it because it came across my desk. There's there's, like, a light like, a local feud in town here in rid And this guy's, like, really mad that they put a gate on his property, and he made a whole website about the gate and how mad is he is about it. And I wanna shout out to rid Feud websites, because we're playing the feud anyway. Nice. But I think you get extra it's extra cool to make a website of your madness.
Guest 2
Make that beef public. Just make that public.
Guest 2
Well, at least build something constructive.
Guest 6
Yeah.
Guest 4
That's beautiful. I love it. Shout out to feud websites everywhere. I wanna give one last shout out to our 140 handsome
Guest 6
re JS party listeners who took that survey. Now we did promise a free JS party. To do a good shout out, though. That's not fair. Right? I just did, like, a Stupid one. There's gotta be a good one to do. Oh, you want another shot at it? Alright, Dave. Can you give a good one? No. But, like, Amelia or Dave should do a good one. Oh, okay. Well, my my shout out is gonna be, to Amelia's
Guest 2
cool GitHub visualization project to help, like, you visualize a a GitHub repo in a re Nondirectory of files way. I think it's really cool. So hey. Thanks, Dave.
Guest 4
Yeah. I will double that effort. I think I showered out last episode. We're so impressed. We just keep bringing ready. Nice work. Would you like to give a shout out maybe back to Dave or anybody else? I was actually gonna say CSS Tricks for the last question, so shout out to rid CSS strikes even though it wasn't on the board for some reason. For pushing the web forward? I agree. That's what I do. I should say there were a couple of honorable mentions that round. In all of the excitement, I forgot about them. So the Chromium team themselves got a couple of shout outs.
Guest 4
Vercel got 3 shout outs. Rid The EFF, the Electronic Frontier Foundation Oh, yeah. 4. And then Oh, yeah. Couple people shout out open source even though it's not an organization, but Definitely the open source community pushing things forward. I will I will back up what Amelia says and say CSS tricks. Definitely pushing web developers and web development forward Over the years as well as y'all's podcasts, awesome stuff continuing to put out. Totally.
Scott Tolinski
As well as free Code Camp too. Right? That was Yeah. That's also a good one. Yeah? Yeah. Absolutely. Surprise that wasn't on there. It got one mention, I believe. And level up tutorials? Yep. Rid Yeah. Anything else to shout out? Westboss's blog?
Guest 2
Westboss.comforward/courses? React for beginners wasn't on there because, Like, I feel like a 100% of people who know React know it because of less this course. So is that not is that on there? There we go. Got all our plugs in. There we go. Yep. There we go. Here we go. Definitely
Guest 4
should have been on there. Well, we'll give one last shout out to a JS party listener. The winner of the free J s party T shirt, remember everybody who took the survey had a chance at it, is
Guest 2
rid Jenieve Parish. Jenieve, you want a free shirt? Hey. Jenieve.
Guest 2
Yeah.
Guest 6
That was so sad.
Guest 4
Rid Of course, that means that a 139 of you did not win, but Don't fret. You can always just buy yourself a shirt atmerch.changehog.com.
Guest 4
How about that? And as a bonus, since I'm feeling generous, we'll also give out a free shirt to one rid Random member of our JS party community Slack. So if you don't hang out in there with us, you should.
Guest 4
It's pound j s party. You can hop in there at changelaw.com/community.
Guest 4
It's all free. Hang out during the live shows. Talk the web dev with us.
